Savour Their Mid-Autumn Festival Handmade Mooncakes by Renowned Head Chef Lester Wan

Handmade mooncakes by Head Chef Lester Wang expresses his boundless creativity with brand new creations for this Mid-Autumn Festival at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy.

The Durian Paste with Single Egg Yolk is a bold take on the classic mooncake with its mixture of lotus paste, durian flesh and Gula Melaka (palm sugar).  Along with the traditional salted egg yolk, each bite promises a myriad of flavours that will amaze even non durian lovers.

For Snowskin Mooncakes, do not miss the mini Chempedak mooncake.  With its soft texture and sweet aftertaste, the mini Chempedak mooncake is an ideal choice for those who prefer fruits.

Other must-try flavours include the Mini Red Wine Berry; a mixture of Raspberry and cranberries with the aromatic aftertaste of red wine and the mini Brown Sugar Ginger Tea Longan with the authentic taste of longan and a hint of ginger.

Another creation is the Teochew Mooncake by Dim Sum Chef Ng Lip Kah.  Packed with a rich yam paste filling that is encrusted in a flaky crust, it is a traditional favourite with its savoury texture.
